YOU STILL LOVE SEWING…LIFE JUST LOOKS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THESE DAYS.
Maybe your fabric stash keeps growing faster than your finished projects. Maybe you've started more quilts than you've completed. Maybe you miss having dedicated time to create, but life feels fuller than it used to.
Or perhaps you simply want the satisfaction of making something beautiful without committing to months of sewing. If you've been craving simple, achievable projects that fit around real life, you're in exactly the right place.
SMALL PROJECTS. BIG CREATIVE JOY.
Paper Piecers was created from a simple idea: creativity shouldn't feel overwhelming. When Liza became a mum, she realised she no longer had endless weekends to dedicate to large quilting projects - but she still needed that creative outlet. So instead of giving up sewing altogether, she started designing Foundation Paper Piecing blocks that could become beautiful, practical projects she'd actually finish.
Today, Paper Piecers has grown into a welcoming membership where creativity fits around everyday life - not the other way around.
From Pilar:
"I have loved being a part of the paper piecers, it's so exciting checking every first day of the month to see what Liza has in store for us!! I love the community and everyone's kindness, also Liza is super helpful and has everything running smoothly, I highly recommend joining!"
From Amber:
"Foundation Paper Piecing seemed overwhelming before I stumbled upon Liza’s tutorials. All the examples I saw were in massive scale with teeny tiny pieces. I love these bite size projects with bright, happy fabrics. Liza’s tips and tricks have made all the difference! Highly Recommend!"

"I absolutely love being a part of The Paper Piecers! The beginning of every month is so exciting because I know there is a new pattern to look forward to. Every pattern has been so cute and fun to make. It’s fun to be a part of the community and see all the different versions that everyone makes! I also really enjoy the meetups when I can make them live, and appreciate that Liza includes the replay to watch if we can’t. I highly recommend joining The Paper Piecers!!"

"Joining the Paper Piecers has been incredibly rewarding! I love getting a new FPP pattern each month and connecting with the inspiring community. The how-to videos have been helpful in developing my FPP skills, as well as Liza's online, real-time support. The monthly get-togethers are a joy, filled with support and creative ideas. This group has pushed me to try new techniques and experiment with colors and fabrics, turning projects into functional pieces for sewing room that are absolutely charming! The group is the perfect place to grow and share my love of sewing."
HI, I'M LIZA.
Like so many sewists, I once imagined I'd always have endless weekends for quilting. Then life changed. After becoming a mum, I found myself searching for projects that still gave me that wonderful feeling of creating but actually fit around family life. That's how Paper Piecers began.
Today it's become so much more than patterns. It's a community of people who simply love making beautiful things together - without pressure, perfection or overwhelm. I'd absolutely love to welcome you inside.
