I was a quilt pattern designer but then I had my first baby and I ran out of time! (and energy!) Full quilts can take months to make. I didn’t have that kind of time anymore even though I loved it. I started looking for small projects that could be made during a single naptime that would leave me feeling satisfied and accomplished. I turned to Foundation Paper Piecing.

 One thing I love about Foundation Paper Piecing is the intricate details you can get that you can’t get with traditional piecing. I’m not a perfectionist but I just couldn't get my points and seams quite right with traditional piecing. You really just can’t mess FPP up and I love that! The second thing that I love is how quickly you can create a project from start to finish and hold something in your hands that makes you feel satisfied and accomplished.

 The Paper Piecers membership started because I had a stack of FPP blocks sitting around. I kept thinking how amazing it would be to have a place where I could go that would have BOTH quick and fun FPP blocks but ALSO project patterns that I could put them into. A light bulb went off and Paper Piecers Membership was born!

Do I need to already know FPP to join? The membership includes some basic FPP tutorials to get you started. A basic knowledge of sewing is encouraged to get the most out of this membership.

What kind of supplies do I need? You should have a working machine and fabric you love!

Do we make quilts? There is a quilt pattern included in the membership but we really focus on smaller projects that can be completed in a sitting, an afternoon or a naptime!

What’s the difference between a FPP block and a Project Pattern? So glad you asked! FPP blocks are the basis of the membership. They are released every month and are so fun and detailed! The Pattern Projects are the main, completed projects where you can use your blocks.

What kind of projects are included? Projects include things like a christmas stocking, an apron, coaster, placemat and more. This library is ever growing and will always be there for you!

Can I cancel? You can reach out to me at anytime before your next renewal to cancel and I’ll take care of you.

How is everything delivered? New blocks are delivered every month to current members. Our online hub hosts the forever Pattern Projects that you can alway access.
What if I’m not tech savvy? Don’t worry- we will help you get logged in to get your blocks and patterns!

How much time do I need to do these projects? This is my favorite part. Each of these blocks can be made during a nap time. (I have two small girls and this is non-negotiable!)
